Why Back From the Future exists
Many transformations never truly take hold.
Not because organisations lack ambition, but because change is often designed without the people who have to live it.
We exist to design transformation in a way teams can actually adopt.

Our origin story
Why Back From the Future?
The name Back From the Future is not a metaphor. It describes how we work.
We help organisations explore what the future could look like, then work backwards to what needs to change today. By making emerging technologies tangible first, we create clarity about direction before jumping to solutions.
Back From the Future was founded after seeing the same pattern repeat. Strategies were defined and initiatives launched, but the people doing the day to day work were brought in too late. Change was designed about them, not with them. Adoption was treated as a follow up, rather than something to design from the start.
We take a different approach. Leadership sets direction, but teams are involved throughout the process. Real workflows are understood before new ones are introduced. By involving people from the beginning, change becomes something organisations grow into, rather than something they have to enforce.
